Question: If I'm unsatisfied with my shoot, am I entitled to a refund?
Answer: No, you are not entitled to a refund. All sales are final and will be recognized as such when a deposit is initiated. If you are unsatisfied with how some of your photos came out, or with a specific edit: Each person is allotted 2 touch-ups per-photo within 7-days of their final purchase. Requests must be made directly from that person to myself through email, text, social media message, etc.

Question: Do you required a deposit before shooting? And If so, and what does that secure?
Answer: Yes, I require a deposit of $50 before shooting. The purpose of that $50 is to guarantee our set time and date for our proposed shoot, and to also minimize cancellations. The $50 applies directly toward your final bill and will be honored as such.

Question: What are your current rates?
Answer: (As of October 2022) For standard photography coverage (Live Events, Portrait Shoots, Personal Photos, etc. I currently charge $150 for the 1st hour of shooting, followed by $50/hour  for each additional hour. For website design, I charge $45/hour. For photo editing/manipulation alone I charge $50/hour (based on total time edited - electronically timed).
For Special Event Coverage (Weddings, Engagement Shoots, Baby Showers, etc.) you MUST reach out to me directly and I will tailor a payment plan for you based on the needs of the event.
Starting price for Special Event Coverage is $200 flat rate up front, followed by $100/hour each additional hour. On occasion, Special Event Coverage will require a 2nd shooter for additional coverage. If that is required, it will be discussed directly with the client and may result in the changing of the final price to fit the agreed upon budget.

Question: Do you really have to edit all of your photos?
Answer: Yes, every picture you see is editing 1-on-1 by yours truly.

Question: How long will it take to get my photos?
Answer: Typically, I turn around most projects/shoots within 5-10 days. If I need to extend that time frame in anyway, you will be notified directly.

Question: What happens if you get sick or injured and can’t photograph me?
Answer: First, you'll receive a heads up as soon as I know I will be unavailable for your shoot, that way you can manage your schedule. Second, we will reschedule the shoot for another day and pick one that works best for both of us. If I fail to mention not being able to make it or if I cancel within 24 hours of our shoot, I will take 20% off the final price entirely.

Question: How many photos will I get in the end?
Answer: It depends on the nature of the event. A good rule of thumb I go by is for each hour I shoot, I take between 150-300 photos. Of those 150-300, I keep and edit roughly 70-150 pictures.
Example: If you book a two hour shoot with me, chances are you'll walk away with 150-300 quality photographs (this is not a guarantee, just a rough estimate)

Question: Do you instruct for posing?
Answer: Yes, but I only instruct what feels comfortable to my clients. I never want to force a client to pose in anyway they aren't already comfortable doing. Two principles define my approach in how I conduct my business:
1) To always make sure my clients feel as comfortable as possible while shooting.
2) To not only to create a beautiful still images, but to curate emotions through those still images. To be able to tell your story, I encourage my clients to feel their own emotions in the moment.
To also lighten the mood, I'm also a pretty goofy person so I tend to crack jokes or just keep the mood light with easy conversation.

Question: Do I have to sign any paperwork before I shoot with you and what's the process?
Answer: Yes, following our initial consultation I will provide a form(s) for you to sign off/approve. Those forms include liability/release form, estimates, invoices and a contract. You don't need anything specific to initiate/book a consultation, aside from your shoot idea.

Question: What does the booking process look like?
Answer:
- Submit a Contact form regarding what your inquiring about
- Book an Initial Consultation (only after submitting a Contact form or speaking to me directly)
- We have our Initial Consult to determine Client artistic vision/goal and further details.
